Revit Drafting Technician – OHA Architecture + Design


OHA is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Revit Drafting Technician to join our design team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about architectural drafting, with strong proficiency in Revit and a collaborative mindset.


Position Overview:


As a Revit Drafting Technician, you will support architectural teams by producing high-quality construction documents and digital models. You will work closely with project managers and designers to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings, contributing to a wide range of project types and scales.


Key Responsibilities:


Drafting & Documentation:

  • Prepare complete architectural drawing sets using Revit.
  • Assist in the development of construction documents and design details.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across drawing sets and models.
  • Support project teams in meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Software & Technical Skills:

  • Utilize Revit Architecture and AutoCAD for drafting and documentation.
  • Create and modify Revit families as needed for project requirements.
  • Coordinate digital files and models with internal teams and consultants.
  • Stay current with software updates and best practices.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and consultants.
  • Participate in internal reviews and contribute to design discussions.
  • Support quality control efforts and adherence to firm standards.
  • Assist in integrating engineering systems into architectural models.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Architectural Drafting and Design or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience using Revit.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction systems and detailing.
  • Basic knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in Windows environments and office software (Word, Excel, email).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow.
