Robotic Press Brake Operator

Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm

$22–23/hr DOE

Are you a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented professional with experience operating robotic press brake systems? A local manufacturing facility is seeking a Robotic Press Brake Operator to join their team. This position involves setting up, programming, and operating robotic press brake machines to form sheet metal components in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate robotic press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts per engineering drawings and work orders
• Load, unload, and adjust robotic programs for optimal efficiency and quality
• Select proper tooling and verify machine parameters to meet specifications
• Inspect finished components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure robotic equipment is in safe working condition
• Troubleshoot robotic press brake operations and coordinate with maintenance or engineering as needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all company safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)-
• 2+ years of experience operating press brake or robotic manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of CNC/robotic programming and metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Familiarity with robotic automation controls and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience with robotic press brake brands such as Amada, Trumpf, or Bystronic (preferred)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement (preferred)
• Basic welding or fabrication skills (preferred)
