Robotic Weld Operator

Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm

$22-23/hr DOE

Are you experienced with robotic welding systems and ready to join a growing manufacturing team? A local facility is looking for a Robotic Weld Operator to operate, program, and maintain robotic welding equipment for high-quality production. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual who enjoys automation, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate robotic welding machines for production runs
• Load and unload parts, fixtures, and tooling into robotic systems
• Monitor weld quality and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications
• Inspect finished components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Troubleshoot robotic welding equipment and coordinate with maintenance or engineering
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of robotic welding systems
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and quality procedures
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to improve efficiency and reduce defects

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in robotic welding or CNC/automation operation
• Basic knowledge of MIG, TIG, or other welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills
• Dependable with reliable attendance and good communication skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
• Experience with robotic welding systems such as Fanuc, ABB, or Lincoln (preferred)
• Manual welding experience for backup tasks (preferred)
• Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles (preferred)
